Expand Your Tenant Pool with the Renter’s Choice Pet Program

Fifty-seven percent of Canadian households own pets which equates to 7.5 million households.”

The Renter’s Choice Pet Program is an in-house program, designed to widen the potential tenant pool for property owners, by providing a safety net for those who accept tenants with domestic animals.

By allowing animals into a rental, landlords are doubling their number of eligible renters, therefore lowering the vacancy time of their property, saving time and easing the financial burden that can linger during transitional periods between tenant occupancy.

Our Pet Program allows landlords to relax. Although Renter’s Choice can’t eliminate pet related damage, we have a plan to get your property back in rentable condition for if it does happen.

The Renter’s Choice Pet Program is one of the many things we do to ensure that our landlords have the best possible experience.
