On May 1, 2025, Renter’s Choice is proud to celebrate 30 years of providing trusted property management services to Alberta’s communities.
From Humble Beginnings to Digital Innovation
Founded in 1995, Renter’s Choice began with a simple idea: to make renting better for both landlords and tenants. In those early days, advertising a property meant placing a sign in the window or a listing in the local paper. Today, we operate an extensive online platform offering landlords and tenants access to information, applications, property listings, and dedicated tenant and landlord portals—making renting easier, faster, and more transparent than ever before.
Listening, Adapting, and Leading the Way in Property Management in Alberta
Over the past three decades, we have remained committed to listening to the needs of tenants and landlords and innovating to meet them. Our Pet Program has welcomed over 575 pets into homes. We designed a no-cost, no-obligation application process to make housing more accessible for tenants. And we’ve built repair and maintenance portals so tenants can easily report issues and get the help they need—without landlords having to step away from their full-time commitments.
